Agencies can review their outstanding referrals in two ways. Review the two options below and follow the steps to identify the outstanding referrals.

If there is a client you expect to see but don’t - email HMIS@calgaryhomeless.com for assistance – please include ID #. 


Option 1 - ShelterPoint

  1. Click the ShelterPoint tab


2. Click “View All”

 

3. All Outstanding Referrals are located at the bottom of this screen under “Outstanding Referrals” section. 


Option 2 – Build a Dashboard 


1. On your main home screen click the arrow to open “Customize Home Page Dashboard”


2. Click “Add Counts Report”


3. A new box will appear – Click the Pencil to edit.


4. In the new “Edit Dashlet” screen, fill in the appropriate prompts as per below:

a. Choosing Top-Left refers to which quadrant on your home screen dashboard this search will appear

b. Report Name: For this scenario we want “Outstanding Incoming Referrals

c. Select Dates: Choose “All Dates”

d. Provider Type: Select “Provider” 

e.  Provider: Search for your program. (example – ACM)

f. Click OK


5. Review Information- Your home screen will now show you if you have any outstanding incoming referrals to your program. 


6. You can click the number in the quadrant (blue two in image above) and it will pull up a report with client details that can also be exported. 


Now that this dashboard is created it will be available every time you log in!
