There is an automated password reset feature that can be used to reset your HMIS password.  This function can be used to reset your password through your Email address that is attached to your HMIS account.   To adjust your email account tied to your HMIS account, please see this article on  How To Change My Email Address Tied to My HMIS ServicePoint Account

To use the automated password reset feature:

1) Click Forgot Password on the login screen:

2) A window will pop up, instructing you to enter your HMIS User Name.  This is the same as your HMIS login name.  Enter your User Name and click Send

3) Another window will pop up, notifying you that an email has been sent to your email address.  You will have 15 minutes to use the password reset link.  If you do not reset your password in that time frame, you will need to use the password reset feature again to send another email.

4) You will receive an email similar to the one below, with the subject line "ServicePoint Email Password Reset."  This is the email containing your password reset link.  If you do not receive this email in your inbox, check your Spam or Junk mail folders.

5) You will get taken to a password reset screen, where you will need to enter your new password twice, then click Save.  Please note that the new password needs to contain one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol.

6) Once the above steps have been completed, you will be logged in to HMIS and your password reset will be complete.

Please contact hmis@calgaryhomeless.com if you encounter any difficulties with the password reset feature or have any difficulties logging in.
