Within HMIS ServicePoint, User Profiles are built under the Level 3 Provider (although the License is allocated from the Level 2 Agency).
HMIS ServicePoint has multiple User Roles that may be assigned when creating User Accounts.
The User Roles primarily distributed by the HMIS Team are as follows:
- System Admin II – (members of the HMIS & Data Teams)
- Only HMIS Administrators will have this role.
- All HMIS Administrators can see any and all data within HMIS (in contrast to the other roles).
- Agency Admin –
- This role is meant for advanced users who are accountable for:
- Resetting their Agency’s (Level 2) users passwords
- Agency Admins will have visibility to all data that resides under their Agency (assuming the Agency Admin User also has access to all the Level 3 programs falling under the Level 2 Agency).
- This role is meant for advanced users who are accountable for:
*Please note: Agency Admin status is under review as of 2023. There is a training manual, however there has not been standardized training provided. We are not currently providing users with Agency Admin status, however there are still users within HMIS who have this access.
- Case Manager II –
- This is the default user role provided to HMIS Users.
- Read-Only Access –
- This user roles is provided as requested by System Planners
